Grammy-nominated LAMB OF GOD is pleased to announce the inclusion of their unreleased track, ‘Hit the Wall’, in the brand new IRON MAN 2 video game and trailer! The track is exclusive to the game. The official trailer for the game goes live next week, and TV and in-theater ads will be viewable in two weeks in the United States. IL MANAGER DEGLI IRON MAIDEN INCARICATO

DI UNA RACCOLTA FONDI PER BENEFICENZA

Mentre gli IRON MAIDEN danno il via alle registrazioni per il loro nuovo album di studio, previsto in uscita entro la fine dell’anno, il loro manager Rod Smallwood sarà impegnato in una gara ciclistica di beneficenza che si svolgerà in Egitto in supporto a Childline (www.childline.org.uk) e Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy (www.nordoff-robbins.org.uk).

Lo stesso Rod ha organizzato la corsa per quaranta amici, in larga parte provenienti dal mondo della musica, dello sport e dell’intrattenimento: 100 miglia lungo il Nilo tra Aswan e Luxor in 48 ore. Il loro obiettivo é raccogliere 150.000 sterline (circa 170.000 euro) per le fondazioni.

Rod ha commentato: “Abbiamo deciso di muovere letteralmente i nostri culi e fare qualcosa per aiutare davvero, e quindi li sfrutteremo per raccogliere quanti più soldi possibili per due associazioni che lavorano a favore di bambini molto bisognosi”.

Gli IRON MAIDEN contribuiranno alla causa mettendo all’asta tre oggetti molto speciali come parte della raccolta fondi. WINTER TOUR KICKS OFF JANUARY 21^st IN ANAHEIM, CA

2010 is already shaping up to be a banner year for Massachusetts Metallers SHADOWS FALL.  The band has announced that they will be releasing a song on the first metal track pack of 2010 for Activision’s Guitar Hero video game series.  Starting on January 21^st, 2010 the track “Still I Rise” from SHADOWS FALL’S latest release RETRIBUTION will be available for download on the PlayStation 3, XBOX 360, and Nintendo Wii video game consoles.  SHADOWS FALL are no strangers to the world of guitar hero as their song “The Light That Blinds” from their 2004 album THE WAR WITHIN was featured as a bonus track in Guitar Hero 2 in 2006.

SHADOWS FALL’S critically acclaimed new album RETRIBUTION is available everywhere now.  The record debuted at #35 on the Billboard charts , #3 on Billboard’s Hard Music Chart and #3 on Billboard’s Independent Music Chart in the fall of 2009.
